hi group,

the m/p has a nice filter, eh?
howsabout putting some external audio through that?
i've had an m/p for a few years now, love it, and i've used my input a lot.
don't have the schems here, but here's the dealio:
find the schems!
find the opamp that sums the oscillators and noise before they go to the filter.
wire a jack to that opamp via a buffering cap and an attenuating pot.
if you don't understand any of that, find someone who does because you don't
want to fry
your m/p (though i've only blown the fuses once :) or your other gear.
the nice thing about the m/p is that you can mix it w/ noise and/or any/all of
the internal
VCOs!

clock your arpeggio w/ your drum machine or anything else, and turn up the key
track
knob... sync'd filtering!

another fun trick:
plug another audio source into the m/p's FM input and get heterodyning fun!

another fun mod:
replace the MG caps with caps half the size.
use a spdt center-off switch to connect the original size and another larger
size in parallel.
this way you get a normal/ faster/ slower switch.
at near-audio rates you can get great vocal-y sounds.
i'll post some audio when i'm done moving my studio.

by the by, if your filter or amp acts up, most likely it's your electrolyics in
the ADSR(s).
replace them and you'll most likely be good to go. don't replace your expensive
CEM or
whatever chip before you check the caps!

anyway, nice group, nice to talk to you, any input? plug it in!

Hi Scott ... Yes. I definitely can recommend this. The same is valid for the timing caps of the envelopes (C23 and C25 resp on KLM355). Regarding the timing of...

Hey Florian! Thanks for the Old Crow link. I love his site, but never found this. I should change my power caps! I've never tried changing the envelopes. That...
