i did an interesting thing while trying to heterodyne my mono/poly. i
normally use a stereo out from my computers headphone jack that splits
into two cords. i plug the left one into vco fm in, and the right one
into vcf fcm in. then i use waveform generators on my computer (panned
left and right respectively) to control these inputs. but this time i
accidently plugged them in one space to the right each. so the left
was going into vcf fcm in, and the right was going into the PORTA
jack. i didnt realize this for a while. would an audio signal have
affected anything when plugged into that input? (the signal was a
rising sawtooth at 27.5 hz and 24.8 db if that helps)

The Porta's just a switch input, right? I think so. You should be fine. If your portamento still works, then you're OK :) Cheers, Scott Deyo The Bridechamber ...
