hi, availability is low, this is the best site to find one, usually there is one owner wanting to sell if the right offer is made. check ebay, craigs list and search internet ( should have info on history etc ) and ebay everyday til you find one,  probably a low of 1000 were made to a high of 3000, I dunno for sure, you are lucky to pay a low of $1000 to $1,800 and a high of $2,500 +, go to you tube or google video.com and type in will calhoun wave drum and you can see it in action, he is traveling around nationally hosting a clinic and the wave drum drum is a major part of his clinic and great to see in person, check your local drum shops for his clinic. good luck
