Hi all,
I'm a new member too. I just bought a Wavedrum on ebay. I was looking for it
since a long time, even if I'm not a percussionist.
I haven't had the time to explore it fully yet, I just played with it a bit, but
I really love the instrument, I've got the same fellings I had when I tried it
when it came out (about 10 years ago)!
I do have the original patch list, so I'll scan it as soon as I have a little
bit of time (it took me six days or so just to find a little bit of time to
write these message so I could introduce myself to the list, sp please be
patient).
In the meantime, thanks to John for the group creation and especially for the
English manual; the manual included with my unit is in German!!!
I also bought an RE1 editor because I'm really interested in creating and
editing sounds. It would be nice to exchange such creation on the list (MIDI sys
ex dumps? written parameters? I still have to go through the manual).
Regarding my instrument, I noticed that its audio output is a little bit noisy,
compared to my other electronic instruments. I can definitively hear hum on its
audio channel and an occasional intermittent noise at (mostly) regular time
intervals. Also, if I keep the volume pot at the maximum level, the sound
distorts inside the unit. I'm wondering if this is a normal behaviour or if it's
an indication of a faulty unit; what can you tell about this?
Regards

P.S.: I'm sorry if my English is not perfect, please forgive me, I'm only
Italian...
