Re: sysex control explained

Bernhard-In the very back of the manual is all the
sysex info-on the last page is the sysex for changing
the parameters. For most people it looks like computer
code but it's actually not too hard once you get past
the first hurdle.Using a sequencer that can input and
send sysex,type the following sequence in hex:F0 42 30
38 41 02 00 00 .The last two 2 digit numbers are the
only ones that will change- the rest will always stay
the same. The first 00 tells the WD which parameter to
change 00 = tune, 01 = decay, 05 = first parameter,
09 = second parameter, 13 = third parameter, 17 =
fourth, 21 = fifth, 25 = sixth, 29 = seventh and 33
=eighth. The second 00 represents the value of the
parameter chosen.Change it and the value of the chosen
parameter will change.Play the sequence into the WD
and the parameter value will change.Make sure the
switch on the back is on MIDI not REMOTE and you have
sysex turned on in the REI(remote editor).Remember
every time you want to change a value you must type in
all the numbers with only the last one or two pairs
changing. This is much easier and faster using a sysex
mixer( a fader changes the last number) but the only
ones I know of are in Creator on the Atari or you
could make one in Logic. Good luck.
