That is so true, when I want a Jaco sound I pick up my
Fender Jazz Fretless, use the bridge pickup and pick
(with my fingers, not a pick of course) close to the
bridge to get the definitive Jaco "POP". I like to
turn the volume on the bass down a little bit, and
also back off on the tone knob a little for a warmer
cleaner POP...

Anyway, fun stuff!
