I would recommend buying a true bypass pedal (prob about £15 off
ebay). The nature of the switching on the G5 suggests a true bypass
would be difficult, and likely cost as much as the true bypass pedal
anyway. + you might have trouble if you wanted to sell it on (I don't
know why that would be the case...)
