Hi everybody. I'm running an ES-1 and EA-1 along with a couple of other groove
boxes and drum machines in a live setup. I'm probably not alone when I say that
I'm really tired of all the wall wart power transformers I need to use. I'm
thinking about trying one of the power supply units designed for guitar pedal
setups. They have multiple 9V and 18V outputs and take up a lot less space on a
power strip. I'm just worried that there may not be enough amperage (500ma) on
each of the outputs to drive these Electribes and grooveboxes. Does anyone have
any experience with using these pedal board supplies?
The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ looks to be very well made and would clean up my
live setup considerably. What do you think? Thanks, Eric. aka e:machinery.

Has anyone successfully dumped MIDI files to Electribe EA1 using MIDI
OX?

I have dumped MIDI info into MIDI OX (I think?) but I can't load
MIDI files back into my EA1. Every time I try to load the EA1 I get a
pop up.

I would love to back up patches so I can start making new ones but I
would like to be able to dump them back. Any help would be
appreciated.

Hi,
The M Audio Trigger Finger is a MIDI controller which has 16 drum
machine style pads, 4 sliders and 8 knobs. I figured out how to
assign notes to the pads to trigger notes in Ableton and hardware
such as the Korg EA1 but I would like to figure out how to assign
the sliders and knobs to correspond to the Korg EA1 knobs (ie. cut
off, EG, delay, etc.) In addition to doing internet searches to
figure out a solution to my problem I have read all the instructions
that came with the Trigger Finger and the little instructions that
came with the EA1. But maybe there is a possiblity that Ableton
Live 7 can't store any MIDI info other than the notes in it's
external instrument slot because there is no macro to control
parameters. I am going to expirement and try to just run the EA1
into Abelton as a controller and see what MIDI Ableton records. My
goal was to be able to control my EA1 through the Ableton sequencing
software.

thanks,

Has anyone figured out how to program the Trigger Finger to trigger an
EA1? I wrote down all the NRPNs of the EA1 and I have a list of the
EA1 controller messages and values but I don't know how to program it
all so the Trigger Finger will trigger the EA1. I have done web
searches trying to figure this all out without any luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
get a cheap Behringer FCB1010 Midi foot pedal, there are 100 presets, 10
buttons and 2 expression pedals.
It's entirely programmable by the pedal itself or its pc editor.
Have fun

Cool! Thanks so much. I'll save this message and take it to a repair
tech here in Town if I find one. I unfortunately don't solder as I'm
legally blind, and tried once, burning my nose in the process lol!

PEACE,

1. GANGSTER RAP

ALICIA KEYS HAS COME UNDER FIRE, BY THE MEDIA , FOR COMMENTS ON
AMERICA'S HAND IN GANGSTER RAP. SHE HAS IMPLIED THAT GANGSTER RAP
AND TUPAC'S DEATH ARE GOVERNMENT CONSPIRACIES. I AGREE 100%.

THE CRIMINALIZED IMAGE OF BLACK YOUTH HAS BEEN A EFFECTIVE TOOL IN
BRAINWASHING ALL OF US. WHITE PEOPLE GO AND SPEND MONEY ON GUNS,
SECURITY SYSTEMS, ETC. BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF BLACK YOUTH.

BLACKS ARE SO BRAINWASHED THEY FEEL IT IS BADGE OF HONOR TO BE
CONSIDERED A CRIMINAL. MIDDLE-CLASS BLACK YOUTH ARE EMBRASSED OF
NOT BEING POOR. THEY FEEL BEING WELL-TO-DO IS BEING A SELL-OUT TO
THEIR RACE. THEY SELL DRUGS NOT BECAUSE THEY NEED MONEY, BUT TO
HAVE "STREET CREDITIALS".

I CAN GO DEEPER IN THOUGHT, BUT IT WOULD TURN INTO A THESIS. THE
PRINCIPLE REASON FOR THIS CRIMINALIZED BLACK IMAGE IS MONEY! MASS
HYSTERIA KEEPS THE ECONOMY CIRCULATING.

HERE IS MY YOUTUBE VIDEO I DEDICATED TO GANGSTER RAP!

2. HILARY OR OBAMA
THE CAMPAIGNS FOR HILARY CLINTON AND BARAK OBAMA ARE GETTING
REALLY DIRTY. WE MUST NOT FORGET THEY ARE BOTH DEMOCRATS. AT THE
END OF THE BATTLE WE WILL HAVE A WINNER. I WILL GLADLY VOTE FOR
EITHER ONE. A BLACK MALE PRESINDENT OR A WHITE FEMALE
PRESIDENT,WITH EITHER ONE AMERICA WILL BE BETTER OFF!

3. WENDY'S FROSTY FLOAT

I LOVE THOSE FROSTY FLOATS. I LIKE VANILLA ICE-CREAM WITH ORANGE
SODA. RIGHT NOW IT IS MY MOTIVATION FOR LIFE. I STOP AT WENDY'S
ATLEAST 4 TIMES AWEEKS. THE WORKERS KNOW MY BY NAME… ANY ONE SHARE
MY PASSION?

I will be doing the same thing eventually. I did pick up 2 good used computer
back-up
batteries from the city dump, the size of a motorcycle batt., 12v of course.

I will need to reduce the voltage, not sure how.

I see where others are using remote control battery packs from a good hobby
shop, 9v.

I have no rythms in patterns c.23-d.64, all the rest are fine. The LCD shows
"init" about the

I assume I need backup media to rebuild which won't happen. Otherwise I am

Is my thinking on the right path here?

I followed the quick start tut and recorded a sample from a mic just fine. I

One will be "master", the other "slave"

Cable goes from "master" MIDI Out <----> "slave" MIDI In

Slave will need to be set to receive clock from MIDI

Then just press PLAY on the Master and the Slave will follow along :)

Yeh I guessed that I would need a midi cable.
Ok I not experienced.
which one for in and out and I was needing to know which one would be
the master. ie if i was playing one... ea for example if I pressed
start on the er would it join in ...in synch. if you know what I mean.
does ot auto start when the pattern starts on the ea.
