Hi all,

Is it possible to link two (or even more) MS-2000 units together so
that the available number of voices goes from 4 to 8? Seems to me I
read you can but can't seem to find the information now.

Thanks

some things I have done

yes, you can double it
one is the even/odd set up
even keys, one unit, odd keys the other
require two units, one can be the rack too or both racks

another
you can chain two up, that does not increase poly, midi in to midi out etc .
but it does make it sound a bit fuller or fatter or phat (what ever you want
to call it)

layer it in your DAW
that is either duplicate the same track, clone (what ever term you want to
use)
record it slightly pitch up or down, add some effects to the other tracks
combine it with other synths, jp8000, prophet 08, PEK, fusion, extreme or
softsynths ...

a trick I do sometimes, I offset the tracks, ever so slightly, by a few ms
...

In the global menu select midi filter and cursor to page G4D noteRcv
set to odd on one ms2k and even for the other ms2k make sure both are
on the same midi channel, and most importantly, ALL OF THE PROGRAMS
MUST BE THE SAME
