Okay, now this synth is blowing my mind.
I do have a couple of issues however.
I hooked up and MIDI Synced the Korg Legacy cell VST synth with the Z1
being the master. It seemed to be in sync but the computer always
said that it was 2bpm slower than the KORG. It seemed to be pretty on
but perhaps a bit of drifting off tempo.

I got a flash card with a PCMCIA Adapter and it seems to be working
fine. I am however having trouble with the 2004 Z1 editor.
I have it hooked up to my laptop with a MOTU Micro Express.
I hook it up and everything seems to recognize OK. When I choose
"listen", The 2004 Editor shows the MIDI signals in the bottom corner
but it refuses to recognize any system exclusive message (patch/bank
data etc).

Unfortunately I only have one MIDI cable with me right now. I am
trying to backup my banks right now and have it going from the MOTU to
the out on the Z1. Does anybody know if both in and out need to be
hooked up for a sysex dump to work with the 2004 editor. The help
file said something about both input and output having to be on the
same channel.

You'll have to bear with me, I have only had this beast for a couple
of days. I think I'll go out and grab another MIDI cable and give it
a whirl.
