As midi controller it's very good imo. Every knob and swich sends a midi control
change and also the arpegiator sends midi messages.
About the bass sound there are 2 kind of basses: acoustic and electric basses
(wich are done with the phisical emulation algorithm) are very good and
realistic.
Electronic basses are nice but not top edge imo. The synth is very versatile and
this is another good thing to keep in mind.
