Quick update on the Boise Experimental Music Festival (BEMF)....I just added Art Hodge to the performance schedule.
Art is a Grammy award winning-producer for Santana's "Supernatural", and his music has been used on MTV's reality-based shows and in the motion picture score to Fight Club. More recently, in 2005, Art's music currently runs in the Bacardi commercial, "Torpedo", which is an underwater stop-animation spot marketing Bacardi Limon. Art plans to do some far out stuff for us at the festival.
If you plan to attend, get your tickets while you can, and before our big Boise Weekly ad comes out, as seats could go fast. They are $15 + select-a-seat fees for both days and over 10 hours of experimental music, film, performance art, and all sorts of weirdness. That's a screamin' deal. Or you can pay $10 a day at the door...hence, pre-purchasing via Select-a-Seat is cheaper.
