The 14th Annual Los Angeles Regional Sacred Harp Singing will
be held on May 20, 2006, at the Angel's Gate Cultural Center,
Building H.

Singing is from the 1991 edition of the 1844 _Sacred Harp_ (still
America's most popular a capella song book).

Singing 10:00 - 3:00
Potluck lunch 12:00 - 1:00

Probably the a capella singers on this listserv can easily sight
sing these songs, but if you want some background to the
singing and its folkways, learner's sessions will be held in Santa
Monica on the following dates:

Saturday, March 11, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, April 15, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, May 13, from 4 to 6 p.m.
