Live's album has been postponed (again) to
September 11th. There are like hundreds of reasons why they
might have delayed their fifth
masterpiece...<br><br>they lost the recording and need to record everything
again <br>they got so much feedback on the demos they
decided to take a few hints and work a little more on the
songs <br>they got screwed by the record company
(again) <br>Ed decided that singing like a girl wasn't so
cool afterall, and wants to record some songs again
<br>they want to get some songs remixed by Dave Fridmann,
who also mixed Weezer's Pinkerton <br>Swami stole
their only recording of the album, and now he's asking
Ed to write a song about him before he returns the
tapes. Ed says he already wrote a song about him when
Swami pulled the same stunt back in 1997, and the
song's called Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe.
Swami is confused. <br>they realized Chad's guitar
amplifier wasn't plugged in during initial recordings
<br>they're on a 4-month waiting list for their favourite
video director <br>they fired Michael Railton and don't
want an album with that guy on it <br>they haven't
found a good idea for the artwork yet <br>they are
looking for a new logo <br>They want to add some live
versions from the TDTH tour to the album, and the cover of
Imagine and I Walk The Line. <br>when rehearsing for the
Sunfest festival, they realized they sounded a lot better
'live' than the studio production by Alain Johannes.
They fired the bastard and now they're on a waiting
list to get Jerry Harisson to produce their
masterpiece <br>Tricky was being featured in 7 tracks on the
new album, including Simple Creed. Ed had a huge
fight with Tricky and wants all 7 tracks re-recorded
with Billy Corgan instead of Tricky <br>Martin Weisz
recorded a Deep Enough video clip in April and it looks
like Run To The Water except everything is even
smaller and recorded in 119:3 panoramic vision. It has
nothing to do with the song and features a horse grazing
in some field. They want someone else do to the
video... <br>They want to add a sound effect of a
screaming Yak giving birth with the echo of the Himalayan
mountains in the background. They are leaving on an
expedition to Tibet this summer, armed with a microphone and
a tape recorder..
