I probably should kick myself being a Live fan
for so many years, but I agree the songs are kind of
a let down. Deep Enough is a good song, but they
are as you guys say "weak". I was hoping that the new
songs would be a little harder edged then TDTH (still
not a bad album). My favorite songs are Mirror Song,
Insomnia and the Hole in the Universe, Lakini's Juice,
Selling the Drama, Rattelsnake, and Gas Hed Goes West.
None of the new songs even come close to being as
great as their previous ones. I think Mr. Kowalczyk is
trying out for VH1's Diva thing(hee hee)! I wish they
would get rid of the keyboards and get back to the
guitar driven rock and inspiring lyrics that we love the
band for. I miss the old +Live+.
