tim
i agree with you very much on the effort to play unsual venues - esp
if they inspired choices and lift up the experience of the concert
any of you into tindersticks ? they do that a lot as well - find
that setting that adds to atmosphere (even though they often lose a
bucket of money over pursuing that)
and about the unusal arrangement, yeah i liked that too - you never
quite know what you get at a lambchop (or kurt) gig, and that makes
me not want to miss any one of them - like the surprise and
uniqueness - and i guess that keeps it fresh for the band too
maybe "the band" should be in quotes as i understand it to be a lose
sort of arrangment and assortment of members
dont know anything about a new album, but keeps my ears peeled -
there was a dc ep "treasure chest of the enemy" at the merchandise
stall - and i was told it was material from the last couple of month
recorded in kurt's basment
if anyone wants the tracklist just shout and i post it
anybody got that one ? is it my ears or is the sound quality really
rotten ?
best loulou
