hello all

good to see messages here about condolences and people reporting they are
okay - i would like to add my own - even though i am having a real hard time
finding the words

and i have to remind myself that this is real - even though it seemed like a
movie or a nightmare

there is so much i want to say but i cant articulate it - so many complex
issues

but one thing that made me respond is that i want to echo what rainer said :

i think it is incredibly important to remember that it is important to keep
calm and not to lash out in pain as it might lead us down the road of more
horrific events - the word "war" is constantly being used by figure heads
and media

and remember, it would be so easy to let anger drive our speech and thoughts
- and to find a scape goat

my thoughts and worries are with all of you who have been touched by this
tragedy

and please forgive me if i have been akward with my words
