**** Wow, great call. Very perceptive Dan. I have a degree in English(Lit.),
though have never taught. Instead, my career has always been in Plastics
(Really!) within various departments over the years. So "The Graduate" remains
one of my favorite flicks. : )
Just read where the mayor of Evergreen Park is offering to hold the South Side
St. Patrick's Day parade in his suburb pending results of an e-mail survey he's
sent to EP's residents. He's proposing that it be held on 95th St. where they
hold their annual 4th of July parade
"with almost as many people and we've never had a problem. I don't think we've
ever had an arrest." Is he serious? Comparing a "typical"
St.Pat's parade crowd to a "typical" 4th of July parade crowd? Talk about
comparing apples to oranges... or shamrocks to skyrockets. ; )
Have a great weekend.
Dan
