Brother Mike's Musings... by Mike Larkin... 'I went to a Chinese
restaurant recently. I always get a kick out of people who pretend
to know how to use chopsticks. Watching them try to use chopsticks
was like losing my virginity...a lot of wood, but not a lot of
action..."

Helloooo.....

I great to be back. This weekend on Saturday December 8th we are
performing what we call our Christmas Show at the Galway Tribes Pub
in Frankfort www.thegalwaytribes.com. I think we know two or three
Christmas Songs so we'll play them (if we remember...)

Joe Larkin Social Experiment

I thought I share another e-mail recently received by Joe. I think
his new job is getting to him.

"...On the way home from work recently I was in a weird mood. I
stopped at a bar where no one knows me and decided to conduct a
social experiment.

So the bartender says to me, "I'll be right with you". A few moments
later he comes over, puts down a cocktail napkin in front of me and
asks, "What can I get you?".

I reply by motioning in the air that I need a pen and pointing to the
glass of pens he has by the register. Picking up on the fact that's
he's got some weirdo as a customer, he gets the pen, and some paper
and brings it to me. I write down "Jameson on the rocks please". He
comes back with the best Jameson's I've ever seen. I write on my
napkin "Thank You".

He asks in a rather loud voice "DO YOU WANT TO SEE A MENU?" (which I
was tempted to say out loud "I'm not deaf a--hole!"). Instead, I
just shake my head.

I finish my drink and leave 10 bucks for the 6.75 tab and give him a
wave to keep it, to which he replies "Thank you very much!" (as if I
had left a 20).

As I get up, my phone starts ringing. The bartender just stops in
his tracks and stares at me to see what I'm going to do…..it's
someone from work….I have to answer it…..

"Hello?" I say as I quickly walk out of the bar…..

Christmas is Coming and the Goose is Getting Fat

Don't forget our CDs make wonderful Christmas presents. We also
still have plenty of room on the Ireland Tour for those who really
want to make a Christmas statement!!!

That's all for now!!

Slainte,

Dan Larkin
