I saw Catherine when she was here in Portland...she sounds fantastic, as you know! Glad to hear the creative synthesis between you. Also, your presence and expertise have been phenomenal--BRAVO on your continued success, Larry!

Did Levon and Phil play the Pavilion in Boston?  I couldn't find a complete listing for the
Pavilion this year. 
 
I have been thinking all morning how good the Dylan shows were, especially around the
beginning of this century (Sounds funny, doesn't it?) with the great openers with Larry (and
Charlie) doing back-up vocals.  What great shows they were, what a lot of fun it was to
go to a Dylan concert then.  ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Road Trip This Past Weekend:

If you're ever in Virginia, and you're traveling on I-81, mosey on over
to Floyd and check out their Friday night Jamboree.

For just $3, you'll be transported to a different planet where
bluegrass and old time music are the real deal.

The locals take to the dance floor, and some of them are a
definite "hoot".

We stayed at Hotel Floyd, and it was a beautiful and unique place to
stay and only a stone's throw from the venue.

The music went on for four hours.  It's the best deal around.

After our evening in Floyd, we headed for Marion, Virginia, where "Song
Of The Mountains" is filmed for tv broadcast.  We watch it quite often
on PBS and wanted to check it out in person sometime.  For $15, we got
another 4 hours of music.  (I first heard about this place when Larry
and Teresa played there.)

Hi Joy,
I like the new colour, it fits to the photos.
Maybe you can change the colour sometimes. Or you can get maybe a
sort background pattern.

But the best of the colours of that link are the names, f.e.
"wasabis sauce", "naplesyellowdeep" or "mouthwash"

There's an interview with Larry in the July issue of Relix - the jam band magazine - on news stands now! Or you can go to the Relix web site, register for free and read the issue on line.

Ya know, this could be the first time I've ever been the first to report something about Larry. I'm usually the last one to know what's going on. Just before he finds out.  :)
