If you want to fill your Las Ketchup void with another Spanish music
sensation, maybe you'll want to look into these two Spanish bands!
Son de Sol-They are a trio of Sevillana sisters from Écija. The
girls
have trained to an extremely high level at the Conservatory of Music
and Dance in Sevilla. They also manage their own dance school which
has won numerous prizes at the national level. Their CD "Brujería"
includes flamenco-rock music with the integration of international
sounds.

Papá Levante-This sextet is of very close friends from
Sanúlcar,
Spain are a mix of flamenco with Arab and Morrocan rhythms. This girl
group puts messages into their music, not just lyrics. They sing
about sex, anorexia and dealing with parents. They have already
released two albums: Tomalacaté (flamenco-based music) and Sopla
Levante (more R&B influence from Destiny's Child and Jennifer Lopez).
They are currently in the works of their third album which will
hopefully be released at the end of June or during the summer.
