hello,
very sad news to report. for those who don't know, Dave Cross
lost his long battle with cancer on friday. if you're not familiar,
Dave, along with Tim Poland of Nod, were the force behind Coffee
(with a rotating cast of players) and the backing band for the Arthur
Doyle Electro-Acoustic Ensemble, as well as various other projects.

PENFIELD: April 27, 2007 age 43 after a courageous battle with
cancer. Predeceased by niece, Kristen McMillan. Survived by his wife
of 17 yrs., Karin (Hinz); his children, Mason , Deven and Lydia;
parents, John and Sue Cross of Little Valley, NY; sisters, Debbie
McMillan, Lori (Rick) Antholzner; brother, John Cross; 4 nieces,
father and mother-in-law, Ray and Maryann Hinz; sister-in-law,
Kimberly Schickler; also survived by sons, Andrew Cross of VA &
Mitchell Cross of NC. David was an avid fisherman & well know local
musician.
