a few new morc-releases are available from today on.

First of all, there's sC, the debut cd of soccer committee. This is
the first `official' release of Mariska Baars from Leiden, Holland.
Her first self-released limited edition CDR was very well received,
which a.o. resulted in a pile of raving reviews and an appearance at
VPRO radio's prestigious Dwars-festival. Soccer Committee manages to
build entire worlds with not much more than a few well chosen guitar
notes and her soft voice. Delicate, beautiful and truly breathtaking.

also out on may 15th: ,,old things'' by jessica bailiff. This is a
collection of rare and unreleased material, mostly recorded between
the releases of her second and third album. As such, it can be seen
as the missing link between the rather droney second record, and the
starker `Jessica Bailiff' album.Some of the songs have the familiar
sound of her older material, but already hint in the direction of her
more folky current sound. At other times however the tracks already
lean towards her more direct approach, while still maintaining echoes
from her freeform guitar songs. most of the songs were recorded by
jessica herself, but on a few tracks, with guest appearances of jesse
edwards (northern song dynasty, the dithering effect) and alan
sparhawk (low).

both records come in a beautiful cardboard gatefold packaging and are
sold for as cheap as 12 euro, incl shipping anywhere in the world. we
