Hey everybody...
I'm new to this online group, but I wanted to send everyone a quick
e-mail message in hopes of hearing back from some of you. I've
lived in Orange County for my entire life (although I kind of hate
to admit it) and currently live in the city of Orange, very near
Tustin. I had no idea that this place was even located here. I
have been a LONG-time fan of rocksteady and scootering... and have
been looking for an even LONGER time, for people who shared the same
interests.
I am currently trying to start an authentic rocksteady group and I
need a LOT of people. I play keys myself, and could try to sing
some back-up vocals, but I'm looking for: at least two (2)
vocalists to lead and sing harmonies together (preferably male
voices), another keyboardist (one of us would play organ, the other
would play piano and we'd switch off), one rhythm guitarist that can
play some mean skank and rhythms, one lead guitarist for solos and
chicken scratch, one bass player, and one very tight drummer. I am
extremely dedicated to this, so anyone that's interested please
contact me. I am also into the scooter scene, although I've only
met one other person in Orange w/ a Vespa. I have a 1963 Allstate
that runs well... but of course has a few problems I need to
address. I ride in the daylight when the weather is nice... anyone
else looking for another scooterist to join their riding group?
