| Title: | Banners presents-Paragon Orchestra and "The Mark of Zorro" | |
| Date: | Saturday March 29, 2008 | |
| Time: | 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm | |
| Location: | F.G. Bulber Auditorium on the McNeese Campus | |
| Notes: | Now touring for the first time since its 1920 release, the feature-length movie “The Mark of Zorro" is coming to Lake Charles. And the original, Spanish-flavored score will be played by Rick Benjamin’s Paragon Orchestra. The Paragon Orchestra will perform the complete original score, written and timed to the action taking place on stage. So you'll hear a full band perform great music -- and you haven’t seen Zorro until you’ve seen Douglas Fairbanks Sr. playing him. He was a born action hero, a natural acrobat and stuntman, and really truly handsome. Supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by The Arts and Humanities Council of SWLA. $20 adults, $5 students, free to McNeese students with ID | |
