Hi
I'm new to the list, and I realize it's a new list, so I'll start off by
introducing myself.
My name is Mark Hansen, and I've done music for years and years. For a
while, it was my sole living. That was both fun and nerve-wracking.
I do LDS rock music, original songs, ranging from slow ballads to hard,
driving rockers. All of them have powerful, uplifting and thought-provoking
lyrics. At least that's my goal.
I've got some samples at my home page: http://www.g-web.net/mrkh and
full-length songs available for download at my mp3.com site:

I've really enjoyed having an mp3.com site. I've found it to be a great way
to host songs. Their tracking system is pretty cool, tracking downloads of
each song. I've been averaging 30 downloads a month so far, but this month
I've had over 100, and it's still in the first half of the month!
I've got a studio/MIDI lab in my basement full of obsolete but still
effective equipment, including a 16 track fostex analog deck, a 486 running
Cadenza for Windows 3.1, and a bunch of synthesizers (a proteus, a D-110, a
D-5...), all fed through a Mackie 1604.
Anything else someone might want to know? I can't think of anything else at
the moment...
I'm excited to have the list to talk to other active LDS musicians.
I'd like to "meet" everyone on the list, electronically, of course...
