Julie,
You can toot your own horn anytime... I would love you hear your music, and
what a cool experience to have something you have helped to create at a Temple
open house. That is way cool, I bet you are walking on air about now.

Hey everyone,
Due to Lindy Kerby's wonderful arranging skills she and I were given "Special
Recognition" in the instrumental/ other category of this year's church Music
Competition for the primary song I wrote called "The Temple Doors". I'm not
quite sure why it won special recognition in the instrumental/ other category
instead of children't music, but I'm psyched either way because it's the first
time any song of mine has been recognized for anything. THANK YOU LINDY!
Our stake had the older primary children and a few of us adults sing it just a
few minutes before the broadcast of the Oquirrh Mountain Temple celebration, at
the conference center, via satellite. It was well received and I've had several
requests for copies. So okay, I'm done tooting my horn. Thanks for letting me as
it's a first for me after all these years.
