I've been busy lately...I also fell into lurker status for quite some time
now...and probably will again...so here's a short update. :-)
My short eAlbum Nobody's Stranger - "When The River Runs Dry" is on iTunes,
Amazon, and a few others. I am going to be using the songs in a stage
play/performance that I am in the middle of writing right now.
I put together a quick song last night...I'm not sure what the genre is. I'm
going to post/attach it here (if I can figure it out), but it's a different
arrangement of "Dare To Do Right". If you have a chance to listen to the demo -
let me know what genre you think it is.
I submitted my first hymn to the church this year, didn't get selected - but
will keep trying in the future.
I have also been writing several other songs that I haven't finished yet. This
group gave me the boost that I needed to keep at it. I'm having a lot of fun!
Lot's of other things in the works! Congratulations to Sally DeFord for taking
the top spot in the hymn category. The songs are judged without the judges
knowing who wrote the song...it just goes to show that true talent is hard to
miss!
Talk to you all later,
Joe
