I am one of the many who is dissapointed at not being able to get tickets
for
the current Michael Ball tour. For those of you who do not know who he is - he
is
one of Britian's finest tenors but is virtually unknown in the USA. He has sung
the
tenor lead in most every Andrew Lloyd Weber production, usually in the London
cast.
And worse than all this - he is a completely untrained, natural voice. I could
really hate those kind of people sometimes. :-)
He is currently on tour in the US, and tickets for his two Salt Lake
concerts
this coming weekend were gone in (gasp!) six minutes. But there was hope in this
morning's Deseret News! Next Sunday (May 16th) he will be singing on the MUSIC
AND
THE SPOKEN WORD along with the Tabernacle Choir! Those of you who get the Choir
program a week later, then be sure to tune in a week later. He is an awesome
singer
and I cannot wait to hear what he sings with the Choir! I will be in church, but
my
VCR will be recording it for me.
