Thanks to those who have replied.  I am using your ideas.

 

Now, I'm trying to find the name of the tune that "Praise to the Man" is based on.  Since the melody was altered in our hymnal, the hymn tune "Martyr" (as listed in our hymnal) isn't the original name.  Anybody know that info?

 

What I really need is to hear it because I'm writing a postlude around the tune, and I want to hear the Scottish version.
