This newsletter is dedicated to the history of mammoth rock band Led Zeppelin. The newsletter is a true testament to the lingering popularity of a group labeled in 2005 as "The Most Important Band in the World ... Today!" -- despite Led Zeppelin having broken up a generation earlier.
Steve "The Lemon" Sauer was barely a year old when Led Zeppelin announced its breakup in 1980. He became a fan in his teen years and proceeded to author a daily newsletter in 1998, detailing the confluence of members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and their manager, Peter Grant.
Today, the newsletter is published periodically as a tribute to the band's neverending importance and its members' legacy as progressing "ever onward." The subscriber base numbers in the thousands.
