THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! I really appreciate it. I promise not to
send any spam. My research paper examines LH's star image in Ebony and how
Ebony uses her to define blackness/culture. What we would typically consider
contradictions within her image are actually a part of African American culture
(i.e. normal). I'm also going to argue Ebony handles few real contradictions in
her image (e.g. when she marries LH) because of her importance of her place
within African American culture and history. If you are interested, I can send
you a copy of the paper when it is done. If you don't mind, can I use your
pictures for my presentation in class? (I will credit your website).
