Hello all,

I am new to this message board as well as to LH. I am doing my star
studies paper on LH, specifically from 1945-1955. I am writing on this
board because I was hoping maybe someone could help me with my
research. My paper primarily focuses on Horne's Ebony coverage (in
contrast to mainstream press). The university library here has Ebony
but the 1st issue, which I have heard has LH on the cover, is ruined.
Also the magazine is on microfilm, and all of the pictures are horrible
(come out grainy, too dark, etc.). Does anyone have any pictures of LH
(publicity, magazines, etc.) they would be willing to email me? Or can
you tell me of a website that has these photos? I understand that LH
was the first African American to grace the cover of a motion picture
magazine, which one?
