I am sorry my message sounded so corny. I meant it in
the most honest way, The patient I was referring to is
one of mine, My job is Home Health Physical Therapy,
and one of my patients adores Lena Horne. He told me
of her in the movies and passing as white until the
world learned of her true heritage. I became
fascinated with the story so I started looking online.
Lena gives him motivation, and he is always comparing
himself to her. I just thought it make his day(and
maybe hers too) if I could tell her about how he
really looks up to her, and what it would mean to him
to actually know that I was able to reach her somehow.
As I said before anything I stated in my message was
meant very honestly, with no disrespect intended, and
I hope none was taken.
