No. This never happened. Lena Horne never passed for white. When
the Hollywood studio moguls, who did not know how to market her in
1942 (too dark to be white, too light to be black) came up with the
brilliant idea of passing her off as Latin and launch her as a
Latin-American sensation, she also said no.
