Hey Everyone,
Sorry to be late in posting this. We went to the show in Nevada City
Aug 21. Had to be bussed in up and down narrow, twisty mountain
roads, to the private property man enhanced, natural ampitheater.
After dedications of the brand new stage and some political stuff
about the Nevada County Land Trust, Leo came on at 7:00pm. Said he
would look up after a few songs, felt really awkward because it was
so light and he could see our faces. Great show, interrupted by
several bees that kept buzzing around his face. Made great segues
for amusing anecdotes and side conversations. Leo only played 6
string, so the set was somewhat limited, but a lot of "Greatest
hits" This is what i can remember him playing..plus at least one
song from "Try and Stop Me" can't remember which. Excellent show!!
Mona Ray
Louise
June Bug
Pamela Brown
Cripple Creek
Julie's House
Three Rings
William Powell
Corrina Corrina
Peckerwood
The show was about an hour and a half, much different set than
Sacramento in May or Napa Valley in February, different anecdotes and
stories as well.
Best,
Greg
