Just the other week, whilst browsing through the Todd Sharpville
website,(www.toddsharpville.com) I came across a very interesting
discovery of Leo Sayer. Something I have just learned about this
wonderful man and his music. I know Leo Sayer is a superb harmonica
player, but little did I know, until I read the BBC Shropshire
article, that Leo Sayer is infact a world-class harp player. It
would be lovely to see Leo Sayer play this instrument on stage in
concert.
The article also states that Leo Sayer's voice is perfectly suited
to the blues. It has a raspish quality which gives power and depth
to the songs. And he's an excellent showman. Too right Leo Sayer is.
Who knows, I might catch up with Leo Sayer at a concert abroad. I
know he is bound for America next year. It will be wonderful to
suprise Leo Sayer again, and to say "Hello" again...
With all good wishes
From a devoted and dedicated
Leo Sayer fan always,
Jackie Twine....
