Hi! I could pass up the chance of participating
in these questions, what a good idea! Well, here's
my story!

1) What made me become a Leo Sayer
fan and when? I remember to this day. It was back
when "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" first came out. I
have a memory of the song being on the radio and my
sister saying to me, "You know who that is singing,
don't you?" The song had just come out and I didn't
know yet, so I answered, "No, who?" My sister replied,
"It's the same guy who sang 'Long Tall Glasses (I Can
Dance)', Leo Sayer." Well, I could hardly believe it,
because to me the two voices sounded so different! I
remember practically arguing with her, I was in such
disbelief that the two could be the same singer! I felt
that was a person of great talent to have two such
different sounds like that, I was hooked from then
on!

I also have wonderful memories of Leo being on TV
over here in the States so often around that time.
Often he was on one or two particular musical programs
here that were shown later in the evening or even
early in the morning. Being only 14 or 15 years of age
then, I had restrictions on what time I had to be in
bed for the night, etc., and we had to follow the
rules, believe me! BUT, my mother ALWAYS let me watch
him on television, because she knew how important it
was to me! I always really appreciated
that.

2) Most memorable experience of meeting Leo? Oh,
yes, I finally got to meet him when I was 34 (not too
long ago)! Not only did I get a chance to meet him,
but I got to see the concert in England, which is
pretty great since I come from the States! And I got to
share the experience with my wonderful husband, my
mother-in-law who I love dearly, and a good friend also from
the States who was with us on the trip. We were all
there after a show one night, and I have to say Leo
couldn't have been nicer! We had a nice long chat and I
got to take a few photos with him. I DARE not go ino
too many details here in this message, because if I
get started, I might fill up every byte of space on
the entire internet -- but I will say if you've ever
been to the
