>Hi to the person from Hong Kong!
I am sorry to hear you're not still getting a
chance to meet him in person. I hope and pray for you that you will
one day. Leo's currently living in Australia and I know he does a
few concert appearances there. So, I would suggest perhaps to keep
an eye out on his official website at LEO SAYER.COM and click on the
news message page where it says 'news' just click on that link.
Could even take a holiday out to Australia, I'd love too!
Leo tends to up-date his website once every six months, (wish it was
more) and he always puts up a Christmas message to us all.
Otherwise, I would just keep surfing the net and search for Leo
Sayer concerts - just key in LEO SAYER CONCERTS in the search box,
then click on search and see what comes up. I hope and trust this is
of some help to you and I wish you, Good Luck.
It would be good if Leo did visit Hong Kong to play concert. Maybe
worth mentioning by emailing it to Leo's Manager,
donatella@... You never know and hope one day your dreams
will come true. At least you're keeping Leo close to your heart as I
always do!
You would have enjoyed British television January of last year, when
Leo Sayer made a remarkable appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. He
even gave us a little rendition of his song 'Happy Hour'. I wonder
what's happening with 'Happy Hour' and wondering whether Leo will
record it and release it on his new official forthcoming Australian
album. More details of that album will I believe be edited on his
news message page on his website, perhaps in early May time that's
when his next news page will be up-dated I should think.
You would have also enjoyed a programme we had here in the UK
broadcast in 2002, I think it was, Leo Sayer starred in several
episodes of that too. We literally had Leo Sayer on the telly for
the whole of that summer.
It would be brilliant if Leo Sayer makes a return to Cheltenham's
Town Hall to play concert again. I'm a continuous devoted fan of Leo
Sayer, and have been from over 30 years now. I was 16 when I first
got into Leo Sayer. I was at college at the time, and I often heard
his songs being played - songs such as 'One Man Band', 'You Make Me
Feel Like Dancing', and 'When I Need You'. I remember holding his
album 'The Best of Leo Sayer', a white covered album with a stunning
picture of Leo on the front of it. I was just standing there,
admiring him. I have well over 30 CDs and vynal albums of Leo's
including vynal singles - and an acetate studio recording disc of
Leo Sayer's 'Stormy Weather'.
I just love that man and his music, he's brilliant! I wonder whether
the person from Hong Kong has any music of Leo's.
Best wishes Jackie - Charlotte

him in person! Can you guys imagine that? So I don't have any memory
with him! That's sad! He never comes to HK and I don't know where to
see him? I love Leo since I was 10, it's been almost 30 years.. I
guess just keep him near my heart! Yeah! He is great and I truly
wish him a very happy birthday.. My dream is still the same... see
him one day!
