New York to York and more...

Greetings folks,

Lots of big news this time around. First off, we're running two,
count 'em two, big bus trips to NYC in February. The first one to
Kenny's Castaways 2/7 is already sold out. Of course, you can still
make it up on your own if you really need your Poker Face fix. Don't
fret if you missed out,on the bus. The second one is to a brand new
venue for us. Crash Mansion is an upscale room boasting some of the
best sound and lights around. We're aiming at doing a video shoot
and need a packed room for this show. This will be an 18 and over
adventure, so, don't miss out. Tickets are $20 for transportation

To finish out the month, we're heading back to the Tourist Inn
outside of York, PA. After one showing, we've been asked to headline
this show with a very interesting line-up. We'll share the bill with
a band called Illuminati and one more called Another Lincoln.

Lehigh Valley Local Original Music Scene
gets a new kick a$$ stage to jam on, thrus & fri nites
at The Sterling Hotel.

More shows are coming in March with our return to The Sterling Hotel
where we are now hosting the Thursday night shows. Cover is only 3$
to hear some of the best home grown talent in this area. 3 bands a
night will get to perform their music. Draft beer 1$, well drinks 2$
and bottle specials each nite 1.50$. Great music, Great prices and
Great club and stage to see it on.

Come join PF at the Sterling, on Friday 3/26 as we kick off our
spring tour across America. Dates are still being hammered out, but,
expect to see us in Michigan and Kentucky with potential stops in
Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. We'll also be heading back out to The
Tourist Inn for a Black Thorn Entertainment sponsored show on the

Views --- as in Reviews and Interviews...

Lots of good press and interviews as of late. We were recently
invited to WDIY 88.1FM to do an interview with Stewart Brodian at the
end of their 9th Anniversary party. If you missed out, you can now

On the print side of life, the Idaho Observer just ran a marvelous
piece on our new CD, Made In America. For those of you who are not
familiar with this paper, they run alot of stories that you just
won't see in your daily rags. Our favorites are the health articles
on alternative treatments and alternative medical views. Very
informative. Take a swing on over to read the review, and, then
browse around to see what the AP refuses to print.

The band also had a mention in the January issue of The Community
Express (Pocono, PA). In an article entitled How Music Is Changing
Our World, Ray Masters writes about songs that "celebrate human
freedom, civil liberties, and resistance to tyrrany." You would
expect to see Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix listed. But, Poker Face
was right in the middle of the article with a special recognition as
being a modern band that "keeps the torch lit for liberty and
justice."

**extra note - Our song "Rather Die Than Be Your Slave" was listed as
one of the top 25 Libertarian songs of all time in the Libertarian
Party's national magazine.
