Karl was being held in Wyoming, while there he was denied
his medication for a "bipolar" disorder.
I was told he was in bad shape by Brad Forbes and taken
to a hospital upon his release he was then given drugs by
the Hospital staff and given release forms to treat him.
They are not allowing his Primary Care Doctor to treat
him the release form gave the Doctors the athority to treat
him and keep him as long as they see fit (by law in that
state up to 90 days).
We now have a recording of a hospital official stating
that he is being..."held aginst his will". NO incomming
calls will be put through to Karl un less by an immeadiate
family member.
The Hospital is St Anthony's In Denver Co. The
attending Doctor is Dr. Fisher 303-629-4490.
Karl's patient rights advocate is Anita Markesson
303-629-4519.
Please call and let them know we are concerned fans and
friends of Karl's and as such want to see access granted to
his primary care Doctor as he has been the one to find a
treatment that works for Karl and should be the one to
continue his care. Bi-polar to often is a trial and error
process to see what drugs will work. Karl has been through
this tedious process and does not need to repeat the
process (long and painful both mentally and physically).
Don't let Karl down!!! Please Call and make your voice
heard!
Sincerely,
Nancy Koernke
