Oh yeah! She performed alright! Wonderfully. I personally LOVED her duet with
Paul Simon (African Skies). She is SO hot in that little black skirt and boots.
I think she is the most attractive on that show than she's ever been. She also
did another show (prior to this one I think) where she plays herself and I
believe John Belushi was her bodyguard. In the skit she is on a layover in the
airport lounge when, Bill Murray (I think) the lounge singer, notices her and
embarrasses her, makes a big deal out of the fact that she's Linda Ronstadt.
Very funny. Belushi winds up KOing Murray if my memory serves me right.
I would love to have a copy of her singing with Paul Simon.
Good luck and I hope that helps.

Hey,
Did anyone see the new Saturday night live DVD that's out now? Linda
Ronstadt is on one of the shows at the very end. It is on the show
that has Broderick Crawford as a guest star, and it's the season that
has Bill Murray as the new replacement for Chevy Chase. She walks out
with all the regulars at the end of the show and is hanging on to Bill
Murray. I am pretty sure that she was dating him at the time and that
she was only on the show at the end because she was going to party with
them when the show was over. They have her name on the disc as if
she's performing, so I was pretty disappointed that she didn't. I heard
she was really good friends with all of them at the time. I really
thought she performed on the show, at least once. Does anyone know if
Linda ever performed on Saturday night live in later years? Nancy Fox
