Alright people this is a friendly reminder for our show with Hairy Apes BMX
on Thursday July 15. We will start up at about 9:30. Make sure you tell the
door person that you are there for us. This is the only way we get paid and your
last chance to see us before we open for Stockholm Syndrome (Dave Schools of
Widespread Panic's side band with Jerry Joseph)in two weeks. If
you are feeling the downtown vibe, check out GNAPPY at deans. Read about our

LBP signed on for the All Star Weekend downtown. It drew a much bigger crowd
than usual. The only problem is it was all on the street. The weather was
perfect for people watching and there was $3 draft beer everywhere. We
played great both nights, got to meet the guys in Blendt and hung out with
the Sky Blue 72 crew. Each of these bands played at the new neighbor to
deans, "Clarks". After chatting with both of these bands we realized how
similar our senses of humor are. The joke of running next door on cue and
switching musicians came up both nights. Reminded me of that Pepsi
commercial when Jack and Kelly Osborne are drinking a Pepsi Twist and then
it turns into a Diet Pepsi Twist. It was the part where Ozzy says "You all
are a bunch of bloody magicians" I am not sure if he says musicians or
magicians but either way, imagine how we would have fooled Ozzy. You may
ask yourself, "how does it remind me of that?". I don't know, I really just
don't know.
Sorry, random thought number 2047 of this Wednesday July 14, 2004.
