While Little Brother Project is busy auditioning new drummers and
writing new material we still manage to have to sit in with friends
here and there.

Marc Reczek (guitar) will be sitting in with his former bandmates
Drop Trio (www.droptrio.com) on June 9th at Cosmos Café. More
details to come within the next weeks.

While we are on the topic of Drop Trio they have some exciting news.
This weekend they will be playing at one of the best jazz clubs in
Houston, Cezanne. This will be a very special show for them. There
are talks of a "piano set", but these rumors are not yet confirmed.
(Cezanne has a beautiful baby grand piano that sounds amazing)

The best part is they are recording a live album. This is a show not
to miss. Please show your support.

Houston Soundboard has launched and Tyson Stargel is leading the

Houston SoundBoard has officially been launched! The website is up
and running and now all we need is more Houston bands, fans & venues
to help complete the site. Please check out
www.houstonsoundboard.org and click on the Houston icon on the
bottom of the page to see what all the hype is all about.

History, Policy & Purpose:
SoundBoard is a non-profit organization that was founded in Austin
about two years ago. The purpose of SoundBoard is to support the
local live music scene by providing FREE promotion and networking
opportunities for bands. The driving force behind SoundBoard is the
creation of a successful Street Team (fans that are willing to
promote for upcoming SoundBoard events by posting/passing flyers in
exchange for tickets). The majority of Street Team members joined
via email lists of SoundBoard bands and by signing up during
SoundBoard events. Please note there is no cost for the services
that are offered to local bands. All that is asked of them is to
share their fan base, help other bands, help locate people who are
willing to be a part of the Street Team, and promote Soundboard by
adding the Soundboard name to their flyers, website, and having
Street Team sign-ups at their shows. Email addresses are not sold or
spammed. Once the addresses are received, an email is sent out by
Soundboard asking the recipient if they are interested in being on
the email list. If they are not, it only takes one click to be
removed.

Mission:
SoundBoard is a fan-based, community-driven organization whose
mission is to perpetuate the continued success and growth of Texas'
live music scene by providing centralized resources to fans, talent,
venues and the media. By working inclusively with regional talent
and with local music venues to create these resources, we can
enhance the diversity and vitality of Texas's live music community.
