After a long hiatus and a lot of work behind the scenes, LBP has
decided that rehearsal is boring and we need to get back on stage.
The last few months have been spent writing new material (a new
studio album is in the works) and putting together highlights of
live shows recorded over the last couple of years for a new CD
release "Little Brother Project - Live & Well Shaven" (when you see
the cover you'll understand).
This Friday (September 2nd) LBP will be the featured guests on 90.1
KPFT's Dead Air - Midnight to 1 AM with host Sandy Weinmann. We
will be performing live on the air (we'll be premiering a few brand
new songs & jams). They will also be making the huge mistake of
interviewing us (tune in and see if you think we're funny - we think
we're hilarious. I'll never forget the time we were about to go on
and decided to all take a pause for the cause. It went something
like - "So what do guys have coming up? Um.. hee hee, well dude...
we're...um hee hee" - that lasted for an hour). Make sure you call
in, we'll be giving away LBP T-shirts, copies of our first
album "Urban Ocean" and pre-release copies of the upcoming "Live &
Well Shaven". There will also be chances to receive free tickets
to............
Little Brother Project "Live & Well Shaven" CD release party -
September 16th at Clark's (314 Main st, downtown next door to
Dean's) - hosted by Second Floor Records.
This is going to be our first (official) show since New Years Eve
and we can't wait to see everybody. The band is excited to be back
on stage and is elated that we get to unveil new material and
(officially) introduce everyone to Morris Montgomery (new LBP
Drummer). Morris has very quickly became a very close friend and
family member (not to mention he's a freakishly great drummer). We
can't tell you how happy we are to have him with us.
So please tune in on the 2nd and come out on the 16th,
We can't wait to see you all,
Thanx for the support,
Little Brother Project
p.s. Beatty has begun his 3 months of training before he's sent to
Iraq and he is doing well. We will try to keep you informed on his
progress. Please keep Little Brother's little brother and his
family in you thoughts and prayers. Thanx
