I used to be the one who always sent out the Little Brother Project
and Bro Sure emails. I would write them, put in stupid jokes and maybe
a little trivia for free tickets/door admission. I would make fun of
band members, tell inside jokes from shows and the whole lot.
Sometimes I would put personal observations into my emails or random
thoughts and things going on in my life. The band squashed them for
the last six months or so because they considered them to be corny,
nonsense or whatever. So I was shushed. Well this week we have our
first gig in Bryan, Texas at a great place called Revolution Cafe and
Bar. (info below). We are even bringing our own sound guy and PA with
us. (Alan w/Tie Dyed Productions. Those of you familiar with LCC know
his work)
I have sent two emails to each Tyson and Coy to remind them to write
one for this week with no response.....YES!!!! I will take it as a
personal invitation to write my best band email yet. This is going to
be the greatest one ever. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be
amazed at how much I have gone through in the past year. It will tell
you about the trials and tribulations that this band goes through.
You will see how difficult it is to continue to "hone your craft. I
mean, you cant just manufacture inspirado." - jb
Just thinking of how you will remember this one of a kind email
fascinates me. Its a rebirth of sorts. Much in the way the LBP has
been reborn time and time again. So now, onto the email. But first,
here is our gig information for Saturday, March 25 2006.
