So after a jam-packed weekend downtown I am interested to see what
is in store for us this week. Last Thursday was the most packed I
have ever seen Deans on a weekday. We played two short but great
sounding sets. Then it was into the weekend. Friday night was crazy
downtown. It found a good group of the LBP extended family shacked
up at Logans on Main St. We all shared laughs into the early morning
when Tyson proclaimed that there was no way he would be back
downtown on Saturday. Needless to say, as I was walking downtown
with my three dates Saturday afternoon I saw him perched in that
same window at Logans as if he never left. He may or may not have
been up all night, its still not clear. We played a set on the day
of the big game at Coy's Bar, Beach Rock Café, near Galveston that
went surprisingly well. Sold some CDs and listened to Phyves bizarre
outlook on the world. It seemed like we had all been up for days.
Bedtime on Sunday was 9:30pm. No complaints.
