LBP is back and better than ever!
After our brief hiatus, we are happy to announce that Coy, the bassist, is
recovering well after his surgery.
In the meantime I have been writing some tasty tunes for your listening
enjoyment. But, you'll just have to live in suspense until our next show.
I'll be sitting in on some Drop Trio shows as bass player-for those of you
who need something more than LBP in your life.
So what else is on tap you ask??
LBP will be in the studio soon. This break has set us back a bit and the
studio at Clarks has been going through the finishing touches. Toby Lister,
of Deans/Clarks, will be assisting us in the recording process. We are also
looking to hire a producer for this run. When we were making "Urban Ocean"
Coy and I basically drove ourselves crazy trying to do it all. We each
played multiple instruments on that record and it can become a bit
frustrating during the whole mixing portion.
We will keep you updated with new info as it comes. For those of you who
want to relive NYE 2003, disc one from the night is now complete. We are
also in talks with the powers that be to move our weekly Thursday gig at
Deans next door to Clarks. Clarks has a stage, larger sound system, lights,
fog etc, so we can begin doing covers of all our favorite Motley Crue and
Poison songs. Such an exciting time!!!!
