So, needless to say, we have all spent our prize money from the Battle of
the Bands. The big joke with all of us is "Hey, don't you know the LBP is an
award winning band??" "You should be buying ME a beer" the only problem is
that it is not funny to anyone except band members. Even then, it's not
funny. (stupid bad sense of humor)
Anyway, this week will find LBP shacking up in a 15 seat cargo van for our
trip to Port Aransas. It should be quite and experience having the 7 of us
cruising down south in the LOVE bus. Marc will drive, Coy will ride copilot
and bitch about how bad the radio stations are in each town, Beatty will
talk about some obscure band no one has heard of, Marty will tell Marc he is
driving too slow, Conrad will be thinking of Elton John, (one of his
favorites), Phyve will have a single white sheet and will build a fort out
of it while he snores in the back of the bus, and then there is Tyson. Its
not what he will do, its what he has done. Tyson, has single handedly
booked us a gig in a small fishing town where no one has ever heard of us
and convinced the bar owner to put us up in a hotel, give us a bar tab, and
pay us quite well. It's all sales baby!!!!!!!!!!
Nominations are still active. (not sure why, I thought they ended)
