Two Live Oak Coffeehouse stalwarts, Todd Hoke and Paul Sanchez, are having a
CD release party this coming Friday, October 24. Todd's new CD is called "The
Turning of the Wheel," and you can find out more about it, without fearing an
RIAA subpoena or lawsuit, at www.toddhoke.com. Paul's new CD is "Long Story
Short," and you can follow the same drill by going to www.pauledwardsanchez.com.
Todd writes in his "Latest Ramblings" (found on his Web site), "I catch
myself humming one of Paul's tunes now and then and always smile when I notice
it
(unlike when I catch myself humming Barry Manilow and check quickly to make
certain no one overheard me). Joining us on the bandstand that night will be
Michael Austin with his clarinet, Richard Brock with his tacklebox of
harmonicas,
and Al Sato with his guitar(s), mandolin, and whatever else he deems fit to
tote. This, music lovers, is going to be a show, so please mark your calendars,
invite your friends-n-neighbors, and come on out. Hopefully I have said enough
to get you to write this in indelible ink on your forearm (or the forearm of
someone you love). Paul and I have split a few shows and always always have a
lot of fun - hope to see y'all there."
